Reading for the Young Minds (Nursery)

The Reading for the Young Minds series aims for young learners to develop their reading and comprehension skills. Students will be able to master sight words and have a good grasp of short stories through the many review exercises included in the book.

A teacher’s guide is incorporated in the books to assist teachers in their teaching plan. Quizzes and quarterly tests have also been added for the assessment and evaluation of a student’s performance.

Product Description

The main goal of the Reading for the Young Minds (Nursery) book is to help learners develop concepts of print and the ability to automatically recognize the letters of the alphabet in terms of their names, sounds, and forms.

Automatic recognition of the letters’ names and sounds helps beginning readers learn to read with ease.  It also provides them with early exposure to sight words through the reading booklets within the book.  The themes or topics that are integrated in the presentation of the lesson are developmentally appropriate.

A Teacher’s Guide is provided to assist teachers in their teaching plan. It Includes suggested instructional strategies and activities for motivation and enrichment. Quizzes and quarterly tests are also prepared to supplement the teacher’s measures for assessment and evaluation of the learners’ performance and achievement.

It is the authors’ hope that this book will provide the young learners’ a pleasurable and easy journey in discovering the wonders and joys of reading.
